He graduated from Sofia University in Bulgaria with a Master’s Degree in Finance (majoring in world and national economy). In 2002 he obtained a prestigious CFA certificate (Chartered Financial Analyst).
Since the beginning of his professional career in 1996, he has been associated with the BNP Paribas Group. He became an analyst and then in the years 1997-2000 a deputy head of Risk and head of Risk at BNP-Dresdner Bank in Sofia. In 2000 he accomplished various assignments in Austria and Romania for the BNP Paribas Group. In the years 2001-2004 he was head of Corporate Banking at BNP Paribas in Sofia, and then from 2004 to 2008 executive director in charge of CIB activities at BNP Paribas in Sofia. From 2008 to 2013 he worked for BNP Paribas in Moscow, first as a senior banker, then as head of CTBE (Corporate Banking) and member of the Management Board of BNP Paribas in Moscow. Since 2013 he has been head of CIB Poland and head of BNP Paribas Branch in Warsaw.
